In poetic mood; the morning light is a jewel - as is the plumage of the humming bird you might just spot - and the velvet night sky is brilliant while around you is a live tropical night chorus! Indoor entertainments include WIFI, 42" Smart TV with Netflix, multi channel TV, DVD and Blu Ray players, plus discs, and any number of novels to read or books for design buffs to browse. Even the four walls are interesting architecturally and artistically! Going out? Hire a car. Or, catch a bus for a local's take on Barbados. Dramatic and beautiful sandy beaches and bays, Crane Resort and good services and supermarkets are nearby (with a courtesy drop off supermarket van and the scenic route for you and your shopping if convenient). Twenty minutes away is the safer and popular Miami beach and famously crowded Oistins village Friday night fish fry. This is the south coast where there is a boardwalk and more fabulous beaches than you can shake a bucket and spade at! Go a little further for more sightseeing, night life and restaurants in St. Lawrence Gap or west coast hotspots including a deluxe cinema and designer shopping - about 45 minutes by car along the ABC highway. The Barbados transport bus system is a good and safe way to explore at two Barbados dollars a fare! An indicative timetable, maps and sightseeing guides are displayed in the house. Oh, and if you are really adventurous and want loud soca music and a roller coaster ride, then try the licensed white or yellow vans for something to tell the folks back home! This is a self-catering holiday. Everyday clean-ups are your responsibility as is observing the routines, such as waste disposal, that make for a pleasant stay. Need help or questions answered during your stay? Friendly, experienced Ena is a local stand-in for the management - whom you will chat to by phone or email. Both get top ratings for a kind and helpful attitude but Ena is there to: check you in and out, to freshen linen and to clean on a basic rota and can assist or guide you - or will know someone who can. Any extras are an additional charge, such as the lovely Bajan meal that can be cooked by her for you at special request and with notice. Seamoss is located precisely in Ocean City and in the Foul Bay area. There is little road or people traffic but it is not isolated. Adult couples, honeymooners, mixed and mature young or older groups or families and children from aged seven are welcome and can feel as safe and secure as any where.
