Description
This Colonial-style villa, situated on nearly two acres of tropical grounds, is a stunning example of Barbados’ charm. The island, nicknamed "Little England," combines Caribbean flair with British charm, providing ample sunshine, tranquil waters, and vibrant nightlife. Relax and chat with loved ones on the plush patio furnishings located on the covered terrace. When you need to cool off, take a dip in the Italian, mosaic-tiled swimming pool that sits in the center of beautifully manicured grounds, offering stunning views of the sea. In the evening, enjoy an alfresco meal on the large dining table that seats up to 20 guests. Then, take in the sunset from the Chinese gazebo, which has seating for up to 14 and features a wet bar and fridge. Built in the 1960s, this Colonial-style home is made of coral stone and features a spacious interior decorated with antiques and artwork, including a collection of Haitian paintings. The airy living room boasts mainly white furnishings, soaring 14-foot ceilings, and walks directly out onto the terrace. During your stay, the villa's chef will take care of the meals, and the housekeeping staff will ensure the place stays tidy. The main house features five well-appointed bedrooms, each complete with high-quality furnishings and linens, air conditioning, private en-suite bathrooms, a television, and a small fridge. An additional bedroom with air conditioning and an en-suite is located in the separate cottage, and a final room is found in the self-contained Chattel house. Located just half a mile from Cobblers Cove beach, you can enjoy safe swimming in the roped-off area, which also provides excellent snorkeling opportunities. A five-minute drive brings you to Speightstown, where you can shop and dine in elegant destinations.
