Moon Dance is an exceptional private residence that spans almost two acres of exquisitely landscaped gardens in the esteemed Sandy Lane Estate in Barbados. This west-facing villa overlooks the famed golf course's 8th hole and is only a brief stroll down the 9th fairway, past the Old Nine Clubhouse & Hotel Tennis courts, and across the road to the main entrance of The Sandy Lane Hotel and Sandy Lane Property Owners' beach facility, one of the island's best west coast beaches. The villa was built to the proprietor's specifications in 2006 and is secluded in its ultra-quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac behind electric gates. The contemporary interior design features natural and vibrant colours that blend in harmony. The extensive indoor and outdoor living areas make it a perfect vacation home for a large family or group of friends. The main villa comprises four double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. The master suite boasts a king-size "Tempur" four-poster, a private balcony, and a bathroom with a separate shower. Each bathroom includes a bath and separate shower. A roomy open-plan living and dining area with seating for eight guests leads out to a large covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and gardens, with additional lounge seating and a 10/12 seat alfresco dining area. A further poolside dining table seats six. The main house also includes a fully equipped modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a separate TV room with satellite television and DVD player. A self-contained two-bedroom (air-conditioned) cottage with its own kitchen area and patio is located at the garden's end, ideal for additional guests seeking more privacy. Moon Dance's guests can relax around the beautiful Japanese mosaic pool and plunge pool, which has the added benefit of being low in chemicals. Two gazebos around the pool area, one with a bar and the other with bathroom and shower facilities, ensure that guests have everything they need to spend an uninterrupted day by the pool. The stunning Sandy Lane beach is only a few minutes' drive away (less than 0.5 miles), and Moon Dance's guests have access to the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Facility, complete with parking, restrooms, and complimentary sun loungers and shades, and friendly staff will provide drinks and snacks during peak seasons. The whole residence is child-friendly, and children under six are welcome but should be accompanied by a nanny or designated carer.
