Saramanda is a luxurious and spacious five-bedroom villa located on the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate in St James, Barbados. The villa is surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and offers the perfect escape for guests looking for a Caribbean holiday with the comfort of a home away from home. Whether traveling with family or friends, Saramanda provides guests with the freedom to create their own itinerary. Designed around a central, airy atrium, Saramanda seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, with all of the living and dining rooms opening out to the pool and garden. The large indoor living room features comfortable oversized sofas and French doors that lead to a covered terrace with outdoor seating and an informal dining area. Adjacent to the living room is a media room, which features a wide-screen HDTV, cable, and DVD and also opens out to the pool deck. The elegant dining room inside features a large coral stone table where guests can gather for meals and enjoy quality time together. The villa's friendly staff will provide guests with three meals a day, customized to their culinary preferences. Groceries can be purchased for guests and charged to their account, or guests can source them themselves from the local supermarket in Holetown. Guests can visit Sandy Lane beach or the lively atmosphere of Holetown (5 minutes to the north), with its plentiful bars and restaurants, or venture further north to Speightstown for some local flavor and freshly caught fish. The south coast is also worth exploring, where guests can visit St. Lawrence Gap and discover nightclubs that will take them into the wee hours. Saramanda is a non-smoking villa, and guests are requested to smoke only outside the building. The villa also enjoys access to the Sandy Lane Beach Facilities, which include beach chairs, umbrellas, a snack bar, washrooms, and showers.
